ABOUT PROJECT
Moneff is a digital fintech service operating in Europe that provides international payments and cards for small and medium-sized businesses. The client approached Fido Studio with a request to develop a modern business debit card design that reflects the spirit of the brand.
Our goal was to move away from the typical “blue plastic card” design and create a primary key visual card that would differentiate Moneff from its competitors, while also working seamlessly across the app interface, advertising banners, and real-life mockups.
IDEA
At the core of the concept are minimalism, a fintech-driven mood, and instantly recognizable visual elements.
We took the deep navy blue from the brand palette as the main background and placed Moneff’s signature pink-red radial glow on top of it. This glow became the “heart” of the card: it works both as a vivid signal and as a signature detail for the brand.
For typography, we used the Poppins typeface: the white Moneff wordmark in the top-right corner and a very simple “business debit” label on the left. We cleaned the front side from numbers and excessive text, choosing a numberless front concept – this both simplified the design and reinforced the digital-first fintech image.
All card elements are aligned to a clear grid: the chip and functional area sit on the left, while the brand and Mastercard logo are placed on the right in a diagonal balance. As a result, the card remains very minimal yet still has a strong character.
RESULT
The final design has become not just a card for Moneff, but a central visual asset of the brand. Whether it appears in a wallet, inside Apple Pay, next to a payment terminal, in a welcome kit box, or on outdoor banners, the navy background and central glow make it instantly recognizable as Moneff at a glance.
The minimal typography and numberless front solution make the card look premium, trustworthy, and contemporary. Mockups tested in both large and small formats have shown that the design performs consistently well: on screens, in print materials, and in everyday use.
As a result, Moneff now offers its customers not just a “debit card”, but a clear, structured, and memorable card design that reflects a digital-first service. Fido Studio, in turn, has shaped this visual solution into one of the core pillars of the brand’s communications.
